Probabilistic Aspect Mining Model for

Drug Reviews

ABSTRACT

Probabilistic aspect mining model (PAMM) is one of the most important issues in the assessment of drug safety. In fact, many adverse drug reactions are not discovered during limited pre-marketing clinical trials; instead, they are only observed after long term post-marketing surveillance of drug usage. In light of this, the detection of adverse drug reactions, as early as possible, is an important topic of research for the pharmaceutical industry. Recently, large numbers of adverse events and the development of data mining technology have motivated the development of statistical and data mining methods. These stand-alone methods, with no integration into knowledge discovery systems, inconvenient for users and the processes for exploration are time-consuming. This paper proposes an interactive system platform for the detection of PAMMs. This reduces the chance of having aspects formed from mixing concepts of different classes; hence the identified aspects are easier to be interpreted by people. The aspects found also have the property that they are class distinguishing:- they can be used to distinguish a class from other classes

EXISTING CONCEPT:- Systematic methods for the detection of suspected safety problems from reports have been studied and practically implemented    It Can Be Applied To Other Domains Such As   Product Reviews And Service Reviews For Studying Aspects To Different Groupings (no. of medicines development)Of Reviews	PROPOSED CONCEPT:- The proposed model is very useful to patients and pharmaceutical companies because various aspects of a drug can be identified.   · The proposed model uses all the reviews and Finds the aspects that are specific to the target     class (find the correct disease name medicine) and are helpful.
EXISTING TECHNIQUE:- Opinion mining.	PROPOSED TECHNIQUE:- Probabilistic aspect mining model (PAMM).
TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:- Opinion mining is a type of natural language processing for tracking the mood of the public about a particular product. Opinion mining, which is also called sentiment analysis, involves building a system to collect	TECHNIQUE DEFINITION:- PAMM has a unique feature in that it focuses on finding aspects relating   To one class only rather than finding aspects for all classes simultaneously in each execution.
DRAWBACKAS:- Even though premarketing clinical trials are required for all new drugs before they are approved for marketing. These trials are necessarily limited in sample-size and duration, and thus are not capable of detecting rare PAMMs.	ADVANTAGES:- The support count for each drug or symptom will be used to calculate the exclusive causal-leverage value for related pairs. We can find the Strength of the causality between a drug and a particular possible PAMM.
