Project Abstract

Today’s Automobiles, invariably comply with digitalcontrol systems as a consequence of constant growth intechnology. Recent Vehicles contains large number ofElectronic Control Systems and already there are largenumbers of Electronic Control Units present. The growth ofautomotive electronics is the result parties of the customerswish for better safety and greater comfort and also for otherrequirements like improved emission control and reduced fuelconsumption.

Automotive industry uses Controller Area Network (CAN)as the in-vehicle network for the Engine Management, the bodyelectronics like door and roof control, air conditioning andlighting as well as for the entertainment control. Nowadays allmost all car manufacturers have also started implementingCAN based vehicle automation.CAN networks used in enginemanagement to connect several ECUs.

Ø In existing system, there is no remote car locking system.

Ø Only for avoiding the car steeling this system used.

Ø  Also there is not possible finding the position of car after theft.

Drawbacks

Ø There is no wireless system for data transfer.

Ø Finding location of car after theft is not possible.

Ø There is no remote controlling process of car.

Ø  In this system, CAN protocol is implemented.

Ø  GSM and GPS technology will help locating the car.

Ø  Remote controlling and locking is possible.

Ø Very effective method to avoid theft.

       Ø  Without car owner awareness no one start the engine.

       Ø  Very fast response over control remotely.
